Product Care Wedding Dress

Professional Cleaning
We recommend having your wedding dress professionally cleaned by a specialist experienced in bridal wear. Inform the cleaner of the dress’s fabric composition, lace, embroidery, beadwork, and other delicate embellishments before cleaning. Avoid home washing unless the care instructions for your specific dress explicitly permit it.

Steaming & Wrinkle Removal
To release wrinkles, use a garment steamer suitable for delicate fabrics and follow the steamer manufacturer’s instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area first, and maintain a safe distance from the fabric. Avoid direct contact with the iron or steamer head, excessive heat, and prolonged exposure to steam, especially around lace, tulle, appliqués, and embellishments.

Proper Storage
Store your dress in a clean, cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and heat sources. Use a clean, breathable garment bag to protect it from dust and environmental exposure. Avoid storing the dress in plastic for extended periods, as trapped moisture may affect delicate fabrics.

Handling & Protection
Handle your dress with clean, dry hands and take extra care when dressing, undressing, or adjusting the garment. Avoid pulling on lace, tulle, embroidery, buttons, and other delicate details. Keep the dress away from jewelry, sharp objects, rough surfaces, cosmetics, perfume, and other substances that may cause snags, stains, or discoloration.

Stain Prevention & Care
Take care to avoid contact with makeup, self-tanning products, perfume, deodorant, food, beverages, and outdoor surfaces that may stain or damage the fabric. If a stain occurs, avoid rubbing it or applying household cleaning products, as these may cause further damage. Consult a professional bridal garment cleaner for appropriate treatment.

Before Wedding Day
We recommend arranging professional steaming and a final fit check before your wedding day. Allow sufficient time for any necessary adjustments and wrinkle removal. When transporting your dress, protect it from moisture, dirt, and unnecessary folding, and handle it carefully to preserve its shape and finish.

After Wedding
Arrange professional cleaning as soon as reasonably possible after wearing your dress, particularly if it has been exposed to perspiration, makeup, or outdoor conditions. Before long-term storage, ensure the dress has been properly cleaned and thoroughly dried. For long-term preservation, consult a specialist in wedding dress preservation to determine the most suitable storage method for your dress’s materials and construction.
