VEIL CARE
Receiving your veil
Carefully unfold it and hang from the centre of the comb by clipping the comb onto a hanger.(Keep the veil laying flat or draped over a hanger with as few folds as possible). The longer it hangs, the more the wrinkles will naturally fall out. Although it is preferable not to press your veil, if you do need to, then set your iron onto a cool setting and test out the temperature on the veil swatch provided before pressing the fabric of your veil.
General Care
Fold very lightly and pack with acid free tissues. Never wash or dry clean; any marks can be gently sponged off with a warm, mild detergent solution.
FAUX FUR CARE
Receiving your fur
Your garment may have travelled far, and will need some love after unboxing.
Once opened, softly shake your brand new shawl upside down to eliminate any creases and unwanted flatness.
If it needs extra care, blow dry on medium heat for 2 minutes. Be sure to keep the hair dryer at a distance to avoid damaging the fur. Do not allow the hair dryer to touch the fur.
Your fur can be brushed gently with a brush or lint roller after every wear to keep it soft and shapely.
General Care
Always hang your shawl on a broad, padded hanger to maintain the its shape. When hanging your shawl in the closet, allow room between your fur and your other garments to prevent matting.
Please note our faux furs are dry clean and machine washable. We recommend a professional dry-cleaner who specialises in faux fur when selecting dry clean.
